Our workshops are suitable for children, young people and adults, and for schools they can be specifically tailored for KS1, KS2, KS3, & KS4. The broads aims of an introductory Aboriginal Art Workshop are to develop:-
  • A basic awareness of the Australian Aboriginal people and The Dreamtime
  • An appreciation of the significance of art in Aboriginal culture
  • An understanding of some of the basic symbols and techniques used in Aboriginal artwork
  • Artistic and imaginative skills in reproducing these symbols to create individual or collaborative story & journey pictures
